พันธกิจและหน้าที่
กลุ่มมาตรฐานการวัดทางนิวเคลียร์และรังสี มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบ ดังนี้
- ดำเนินการเกี่ยวกับมาตรฐานและระบบคุณภาพห้องปฏิบัติการสอบเทียบทางรังสี กัมมันตรังสี และวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ของประเทศ
- พัฒนาความสามารถด้านการวัดรังสี กัมมันตภาพรังสี และวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ ให้มีมาตรฐานทัดเทียมกับนานาประเทศ
- จัดทำแผนแม่บทมาตรวิทยาทางรังสีก่อไอออนของประเทศ
- ถ่ายทอดค่ามาตรฐานและสอบย้อนกลับไปยังหน่วยวัดสากลทางรังสี กัมมันตภาพรังสี และวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ ให้กับหน่วยงานภายในและภายนอกประเทศ
- บำรุงรักษาและพัฒนาฐานข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับมาตรฐาน การสอบเทียบและรับรองทางรังสี กัมมันตภาพรังสี และวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ของประเทศ
